Visit from the Mother-in-Law (1918)

The newly married couple Clara and Georg are enjoying a quiet afternoon at home when a telegram arrives, announcing the imminent arrival of Clara’s mother. While Clara excitedly rushes off to go shopping, Georg takes a stiff drink to fortify himself for the impending meeting with his mother-in-law.
