Lasse Liemola is a Finnish singer. He's known to be one of the first Finnish teen idols. Liemola began his career in the late 1950s with his single "Sininen kuu" / "Kadun aurinkoisella puolella" ("Blue Moon" / "On the Sunny Side of the Street"). He also starred in films such as IskelmΓ€ketju (1959), Nuoruus vauhdissa (1961) and Onnelliset leikit (1964). Liemola quit his music career in 1966, after being involved in a car crash due to which he was hospitalized for 1,5 months. Then he went to study economics.
