Jarno Ilmari Hiilloskorpi (b. November 8, 1939 Turku ) was a Finnish actor and theater and film director . Both of his parents were actors. Father Gunnar Hiilloskorpi (1908–1941) played the lead role in the film adaptation of FE Sillanpää's Miehen tie. Jarno Hiilloskorpi attended the predecessor of the Theater College, the Suomen Teatterikoulu, between 1958 and 1961. After his studies, Hiilloskorpi was hired by the Helsinki People's Theater from 1961 to 1963. Other engagements and actions were: Turku City Theater 1963–1965, Helsinki City Theater 1965–1974, Suomen Kansalisteatteri 1974–1989, Tampere Workers' Theater 1989–1993 and 1995–1999. As a theater director, Hiilloskorpi worked at Seinäjoki City Theater 1993–1995 and Riihimäki Theater 1999–2003.
