Biography

Dan Abramovici immigrated to Canada as a teenager, a background that has fueled his interest in stories exploring identity and belonging. A graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s prestigious Actor Conservatory, Abramovici made his mark with his debut feature Ben’s At Home, which he co-wrote and starred in. Following a theatrical release in Canada, it reached wider audiences on Netflix in 2017. His next feature script, You Have Feet In Your Shoes, earned recognition at Cinequest, where it won a Top 10 award and led to mentorship opportunities with industry legends including Lawrence Kasdan and Dennis Lehane. As an actor, Dan has appeared in series such as Star Trek: Discovery, Wayne, What We Do In The Shadows, JANE, and Tales From The Void.
